Spine and edges skillfully repaired; some light foxing and small stains, mostly in the margins; very good example of a rare, untrimmed copy in original state. Enclosed in a chemise and quarter morocco slipcase.. 4to, original plain pink wrappers, stitched as issued, remains of a small printed paper label on the spine, untrimmed. An attractive edition of Gray's famous Elegy with Giuseppe Torelli's Italian translation juxtaposed with the original English, preceded by a dedicatory sonnet by the printer Biambatista Bodoni to Signora Contessa Elisabetta Caterina Mosconi.
