Overall light wear, spine cocked. A sound copy. Cloth. A popular text first printed in November 1881. This reprint has some corrections. The text is "intended to afford to beginners a clear and accurate knowledge of the experiments upon with the Sciences of Electricity and magnetism are based, and of the exact laws which have been thereby discovered." (from the preface). 171 figures, and a large section in the rear of questions and answers for the student/teacher.
