John William Colenso Lord Bishop of Natal; no date but advertisement dated 1868; includes a short history of algebra, definitions, simple equations, algebraical fractions, theory of indeces, surds, etc; three-quarter black leather, cloth sides; one page missing to prelims, heavy tanning to endpapers, medium foxing throughout, some pencil marginalia, some pages roughly trimmed; boards heavily worn to sides front and rear, wear to edges of leather.
