White to Louisa Kennedy, in a complimentary style that is also very difficult to completely make out. Dated 1959. Condition os book is VERY GOOD ; covers clean, moderate wear to corners and spine ends. Binding tight. Text has one underlining and 3 margin marks, rfep has a pen scribble. DJ is GOOD+ ; clean, edges worn, a little loss to spine ends, edges chipped. In a mylar wrapper. Ref. Case. RGR.

It is the best-known and most influential prescriptive treatment of English grammar and usage, and often is required reading and usage in U.S. high school and university composition classes.
