Burgess and Hill, London 1828. Third Edition.
Very scarce UK edition, in one volume by George Gregory MD (1790-1853).
Condition is Good.
Contemporary half calf over marbled boards.
Calf spine has a tear approx 1.5 cm at head and a tear of approx 2 cms at tail. Some wear at corners of boards and at joints.
Binding good but rear hinge with last three leaves weakened. However no leaves are detached, book is not shaken or loose.
Internally there is some light occasional foxing with heavier foxing/browning in early leaves and last few leaves and also pastedowns. Two small pieces missing from top of first blank.
There is a signature in ink of a previous owner on title page. Some small notations (indecipherable) by a previous owner in ink on rear pastedown.
All edges marbled.
This is the very scarce UK edition.
