Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages with noticeable ink stain to pages and bottom text block edge; text unaffected. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with noticeable splitting to joints and soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Mild water staining to pages throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy sunning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Mild water stains and droplets to boards. Book has forward lean. Boards are mildly warped.
