Navy cloth with orange titles on front and spine; very clean, with small scuff near lower edge, otherwise unmarked, slight edgewear; tight and solid sewn binding. Former owner name plate on half title page. Foxing on half title page, frontis, title page. Frontis Portrait: Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861). Pages clean, no underlining, no highlighting, lightly toned. Illustration pages on coated paper and the page on either side of the plate are foxed. Early history of Browning, her marriage to Robert Browning, their life in their adopted country of Italy, her poetry. 216 pages. 5.5 x 8.75 inches. 1930, Longmans, Green and Co., London, New York, Toronto
