London: Jonathan Cape, 1949 Copy in red cloth on boards with gilt decoration on cover in unclipped D/J. Boards a little dusty. Jacket spine is sunned. Jacket chipped and creased around edges. Jacket a little grubby. Foxing to front and rear end papers. Light foxing to folio fore-edges. Fold out map at rear. Occasional pencil margin markings through text, otherwise clean contents.
