London: George Newnes, ca. 1910, 1912, 1917. 1st. Hardcover. One of 800 numbered copies. Presentation by the author in ink on front flyleaf. Bound in publisher's orignal half leather with cloth covered boards and cover stamped in black. Top edge gilded. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographic reproductions and illustrations on heavy paper with tissue guards. Wear to extremities, corners through leather. Spine leather is missing, though binding and hinges are unimpaired. Text block is in very good condition, clean and bright, with slightest uniform sun-tint to outside edge of all pages. 10 3/4 x 16 inches. 40 pages printed on one side, plus illustrations on non-paginated pages.
