Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to dark blue cloth boards, front board and spine stamped and lettered in orange. - corners sharp. Spine is slightly darkened. Housed in a brand new facsimile DJ which is just stunning. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. deckled edges. Basis for the 1960 film about a con man and a female evangelist selling religion to small town America. It won three Academy Awards for Best Actor (Burt Lancaster) and Best Supporting Actress (Shirley Jones). A very handsome collectible copy of an American classic. LOC SS-FB-03
