Vol 1 - 1987, Vol 2 - 1990] Both volumes complete with original dust jackets, The dust jacket on Vol 1 is a touch loose, with minor edge-wear and light but uneven sunning, it has two price stickers on the rear and one or two small nicks; The dust jacket on Vol 2 remains stiff and clean, neither jacket is price clipped; The boards on both volumes are firm and clean, with sharp corners and embossed gilt titling; Both volumes are internally clean, with no ownership marks or annotation, they are generously illustrated with large colour and B+W plates reproducing Nolde's oil paintings; Binding tight in both volumes; Overall a very nice, clean set. ; 30 x 28 x 6 cm; i 644, ii 604 pages .
