Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened.
