About This Item

New York: Random House, 2003. 1st ed.. Hardback octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), pages faintly toned, minor edgewear jacket. 284 pp. David Frum and Richard Perle examine the agenda for what is next in the war on terrorism. The authors are a former presidential speechwriter, and a former assistant secretary of defense and one of the most influential (neo-conservative) foreign-policy leaders in Washington. They lay out a bold program to defend America, and to win the war on terror. The aim is to define the conservative point of view on foreign policy for a new generation. (Of historical interest - it did not work out that well in practice. First edition stated.).
