4th edition, published by Longmans, Green, and Co. in London, 1877. In near-fine condition. No dust jacket, and the hardcover is worn slightly around the edges and along the spine. There is an inscription penned by a previous owner on the flyleaf dated August, 1881. The binding has been repaired with tape on the inside of the front and back cover panels. Some foxing and tanning visible on the inside pages.
