With 24 pages of illustrations from photographs and two from line drawings. 232 pages. Red cloth covers discoloured and faded on front and lower back edge. Foxing on endpapers and title page, and page edges. Browning/blackening to lower half of front and back pastedown and endpaper and last page of index. Dedication on front free endpaper. Dust jacket worn and stained on top and bottom edges, with general shelfwear; small loss at top of spine. 232pp.
