London: Adam and Charles Black, 1908 Second edition. 8vo. pp. ix, [1], 230, [10], last four leaves of bookseller's advertisements, with lithographed colour frontispiece, 74 lithographed colour plates by A. Heaton Cooper. Intermittent slight mainly marginal foxing. Original publisher's blue cloth, gilt and tooled in black, red and white with naturalistic decorations, spine slightly sunned, head a little rubbed. The second edition of this beautifully illustrated travelogue focused on major English lakes, with 74 colour plates by A. Heaton Cooper, a famous watercolourist renowned for his landscape views.
