Elkin Mathews And John Lane, 1892. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1892. Second Edition. 129 pages. No dust jacket. Brown paper-covered boards. Book has a slight smoky odour. Very heavy tanning to spine and board edges. Pages are rough cut. Pages are moderately tanned with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Slight crinkling to gutters. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Very heavy tanning to spine and board edges. Noticeable creasing down spine with a split to end.
