Octavo, [vi], 309pp. Brown cloth, title in gilt on spine. Illustrated endpapers. Stated "Reprinted... July 1907" on copyright page. Slight lean to text block, light sunning to spine, bumped corners. Signed "Roger Keyes / 4.10.08" above his bookplate on the front free endpaper. Admiral of the Fleet, Roger Keyes, (1872-1945) was a British naval officer, member of the House of Commons and the first Director of Combined Operations during World War II. While in the House of Commons, he played a pivotal role in the Norway Debate, which resulted in a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and rise of Winston Churchill.
