The interesting social history of the English Spa and Spa town, told with the help of apposite and lively quotation from contemporary sources. He writes at length of Bath, Tunbridge, Cheltenham and the other great spas, and also of the many obscure and transitory spas and wells. Hb in dw, a very nice copy..
