London, United Kingdom: Thomas Nelson & Son, 1936. Shoter version of his 4 Volume set 'History of the Great War' published in 1922 which is regarded as a classic history of World War One. CONDITION Blue cloth (unworn with sharps cnrs) bright Gilt spine title, publishers Blue stained top edge, map eps show the Western Front to fep and the Eastern Front to the rep. 402 pages with 23 half tone photo portraits of all the protagonists, 8 maps (including eps). Copy is bright and crisp as new apart from light partial toning to eps. DJ has only lightest wera with a couple of small nicks to bottom edge and lightest toning. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
