Biography of an innovative shipowner. One time president of Intertanko, the independent taker owners association, he also had along relationship with the whaling industry. He was among the first to place orders with Japan's shipyards after WWII and he was a trailblazer in the development of the combination carrier for dry and liquid cargo .
