New York: Grove Press, Inc., 1969. Stated First Printing . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Translated from the German by Hugo Gaspari. Author was a Viennese schoolteacher during the 1920's. She was arrested in 1924 and sentenced to six years imprisonment. Here she details her self-justification with her theories of child-rasing and pedagogy. She was released in 1925. 317 pp. Book has brown cloth covered boards with gilt text on spine only. Spine ends are lightly rubbed. Photographic, unclipped (($7.50) DJ has edge wear, interior and rear panel discoloration. Not a commonly found book. Bookseller's Inventory # 155208
