Paul Jordan Smith (possibly Ward Ritchie printing), 1935. . A small booklet of 8 pages, sewn. One crease, affecting the whole book, but otherwise very nice. Second leaf printed in red & black. A Christmas booklet prepared by the Paul Jordan Smiths, containing a short introduction signed P.J.S., and printing the text of a short letter from Samuel Butler to a Mrs. Ker, dated 1901, discussing classical literature and mentioning the forthcoming publication of a new edition of Butler's EREWHON. Another similar booklet was produced by Smith in 1938 entitled: ANOTHER ERWHONIAN MEMENTO, which printed the text of a letter from Butler to Richard Garnett.
