Signed on the title page by the author, David Roberts, and by one of the two climbers, Bradford Washburn, who lived to tell this tale that took place in 1937. Beige paper boards over black spine. Gilt title to spine. Light sunning to top edges. Protected in mylar. The climbing adventure of two Harvard students in 1937 and the first ascent of the 17,150 foot Mt Lucania. More exciting is the desperate, harrowing story of their survival in the wilderness and return to civilization.
