Lower corner of the front board is stained in addition to some spot staining to the rear cover; moderate to heavy foxing throughout; folding frontispiece is crisp. "Saissy described a Eustachian bougie; he was probably the first to use this instrument. Besides dealing with the labyrinth, this book discusses diseases of the tympanum and Eustachian tube" Garrison and Morton 3365.
