Pale blk mottled boards; a little marked; four inch split to top of spine on left side, two inch spilt on top right, boards and backstrip intact, but external joints slightly frail. Titling label on spine worn, but just about legible. Rough-cut pp still quite supple; spotted throughout. Pasted to front pastedown is what appears to be a contemporary review from The Literary Gazette. Formerly the property of Dr Jonathan Miller, whose signature appears on the front endpaper.; 8vo (6" x 9"); 430 + 2pp pblr's cat pages .
