York: Printed for the Author, by G. Peacock, 1793. First edition. 4to. 3 folding engraved plates, each with letterpress explanatory leaf. Half-title, list of subscribers, with additional leaf of subscribers and author's apology for errors, errata leaf at end of first part. Later nineteenth-century half calf, red morocco spine label; rebacked with spine laid-down, some foxing to plates, second plate trimmed with some loss to lower margin and legend, occasional marginal spotting or toning, mostly to explanatory leaves opposite plates Describes many of the exotic plants cultivated in England.
