Two volume set, second edition, 1849, hardcover with brown cloth boards, octavo, 360pp. and 414pp., not illustrated. Books ex-library with numbers on spines, plates to front pastedowns, pockets removed at rear pastedowns; otherwise books good with volume one showing a tear across face of spine head that has been expertly repaired, rubbing and soil to boards, corners and spine ends worn, bindings mostly tight, texts have some foxing and marginalia in pencil. No DJs.
