About This Item
Gettysburg: H.C. Neinstedt, 1856-57. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket as Issued. Volume 8 only. Half brown leather binding with marbled boards. Two forest green slips and gilt lettering on the spine. Bookplate. 600pp. Most of the spine is missing (except for the green slips). Front and back covers almost detached (back cover more-so). Several pages with underlining or notes. Dark brown stain on multiple pages (affects text legibility somewhat, only a few words). Moisture marks on upper and lower section of portions of pages (doesn't affect legibility). Fair condition only. This book comes from the personal library of Morton H. Smith but does not have his personal library marking (neither does it contain his signature). Full refund if not satisfied.
