Full blue cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped spine titling and gilt "EL" in script at tail of spine; pale orange topstain. In light blue dust jacket with J. S. Goodall black & white drawing of Evelina and a young man in fancy dress on front panel. --- A Good-only copy, with frequent inked markings scattered through the text and spotting to topstain, otherwise tightly bound & sound. Dust jacket with chipping and chafing to extremities, inked notations to back flap, else intact and protected in removable clear plastic wrapper.
