New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1947. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 1947 FIRST PRINTING of FIRST EDITION. SIGNED by Nard Jones on the short-title page. Original red cloth covers, gilt pattern rules spine, black title patch spine with gilt lettering, b/w photo-illustrated EPs.The book is in nice condition with clean covers, no owner marks or writing on any pages (other than author's signature), no foxing, solid binding. The origin DJ has rubbing, 4cm loss top of spine, 2cm loss bottom of spine, 3cm tear upper rear. The book measures 220mm tall x 155mm, and has 276 pages, 11 b/w photos. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
