Everybody's Vermont, West Newbury, VT, 1897. First Edition. Softcover (Perfect Bound). Very Good- Condition. Book Signed by Author. Signed by Anne Pierce (as Anne Pierce Ansley) next to her name on the title page. Laid in is a printed note from the authors with the salutation "Dear Librarian" saying they "have decided to distribute gift copies to libraries for their patron's pleasure." In addition, there is a handwritten note on a folded piece of paper from Pierce to the librarian that received the copy. It appears to have been taped to something on the back, since there is some surface loss in a scar on the back side of the note Size: Oblong (8"x9"). 122 pages. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked with a little tanning along the outside edge of the first (title) page. No foxing in this copy. The spine is uncreased. The tips of the corners show some wear and are slightly turned. There is a small bump at the bottom edge of the front cover.
