Clean unfaded green cloth boards with white, yellow and black decoration on cover (child sitting on the floor playing with a toy elephant), crisp black and white lettering on cover; image of child and black lettering on spine. No wear to decorations or lettering. No bumping or wear to cloth. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean with clean decorated endpapers; small previous owner inscription on back of frontispiece. Decorated title page; frontispiece by C. H. Lawrence. Decorated copyright page. Black and white drawings throughout. 212 pages. Clean dust jacket has some light edge and corner wear; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A lovely book in great condition that presents play activities for children that will enhance their all round development,mental, moral and physical. "The book is offered as a working program of play for mothers, teachers and all who are interested in the joyful, free, normal development of the spirit of the child.".
