About This Item

New York: Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 1965. First edition. First edition, first printing. xxiv, 269 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth and blue paper covered boards, lettered in white, navy topstain. Fine in Fine dust jacket with no fading to spine panel, unclipped ($4.95). A very clean, bright, superb copy of a book that's fairly common in general, but rare in such great shape.

It's for her short stories that O'Connor is most often hailed; this posthumously-published volume collects nine of them.
