Publisher's original green cloth, lettered in silver on the spine, lg 8vo. The great evolutionary biologist, Len Radinsky, was revising the manuscript for this book when in died of cancer in August 1985. The work was completed by MacArthur fellow and biologist, Sharon B. Emerson. Small name sticker of former owner on the front endpaper. No signs of use.
