Pages clean, white and unmarked except for a crayon name on front free endpaper. Light foxing on front and back free endpapers and title page. One of the eight Barnes All-Star Library books (DiMaggio, Kiner, Williams, Musial, Berry, Blackwell, Lemon and Pafko). This short biography includes his 16-straight wins, his no-hitter and his almost double no-hitter in 1947 with the Cincinnati Reds. Blackwell's career statistics shown on front and back endpapers and pastedowns. Remarkable condition for its age. One of the rarer books of the Barnes All-Star Library series.
