Price clipped dust jacket not marked, torn or creased with slight fading to spine. 144pp. The delightful true story of an outing to the Lake District at the birth of the age of mass tourism in 1865. Details of the journey there and of the events on holiday were painstakingly copied into an album at the time, in poetry and prose along with excellent illustrations in pen and ink and water-colour.
