About This Item

Moses King. Very Good. 1882. First Edition. Hardcover. 113 pages; A very good copy, clean and tight in original green cloth binding with black and gilt stamped spine and cover. OCLC: 9529537 Hudgens attended Phillips Exeter Academy prepreratory to his attendance at Harvard University. He was unable to complete the course with his Class of 1884 at Harvard, having been absent the entire junior year, but grafuated the following year (1885-86). During the three years 1881, 1882 and 1884 in which he was with the class, he rowed No. 6 on the University crew. After leaving college, Hudgens became an instructor in German, Greek and English literature at Colby Academy, New London, New Hampshire. Eventually, his failing eyesight forced him to abandon teaching and engage in business. In addition to the book presented here, he published several pieces of journalism. ; Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings. .
