Catalogue for the Seventh International Exhibition presented by the International Confederation of Art Dealers at the Virginia Museum of the Fine Arts, April 22-June 12, 1983. Eighty-six art dealers from throughout the world selected over 150 works of art they considered most exemplary for this exhibition, which demonstrated the excellence of what could have been collected in the 1980s. The author explains the great tradition of art dealing and collecting, and is beautifully illustrated with color photographs.
