Edward Arnold, 1896. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Sella, Vittorio. Two volumes Green cloth over beveled edged boards. Gilt title on front boards and spine, and decorative gilt on front boards. Spines are tanned. Top edge gilt, deckle fore and bottom edges. Some foxing, and toning on edges. Front endpaper of volume 1 has been clipped on top edge, number and gift inscription. Top edge of rear board on volume 1 has old nibble marks, easily ignored. Both volumes are profusely illustrated, plates have their tissue covering. Bindings are tight. 1st edition
