Grenfell Price, who built his selections into a running narrative which is held together by his own comments and summations. The contents include James Cook's first voyage from 1768-1771, his second voyage from 1772-1774, and his third voyage from 1776 to 1780. The book was illustrated by Geoffrey C. Ingleton. This Easton Press printing has a copyright of 1998.This fabulous 292-page book is part of the Easton Press Collector's Library of Famous Editions bound in leather with raised bands. End papers are of a rich moire fabric. This book is printed on archival quality paper especially milled for this edition.)
