New York: Random House. Very Good in Good dust jacket. ©1958. First Edition. Hardcover. 177 p. 21.5 cm. Copyright date only. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Minor wear to the corners. A couple of erased pencil prices / notes to the endpapers. Otherwise, inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket has edge wear, including some tears and creases, and heaviest at spine ends and corners. Head and tail of the spine and a tiny hole on spine have been reinforced on reverse side with acid free cello tape. Rear panel shows some soil and both panels lightly rubbed. Price clipped. An account of mountain climbing expeditions in the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Annapura, and K2. Illustrated with a section of black and white drawings and in text pen and ink drawings. One of the publisher's World Landmark series books for children. World Landmark Books No. W-36 .
