Good binding and cover. Front board detached. Shelf wear and rubbing to corners and spine. Library stamps and markings. Clean, unmarked pages. Previous owner's names inscribed on FFEP and title page: Thomas E. Golden and Jeremiah Leaming. Ships daily. Bishop Gilbert Burnet (1643-1715) was a Scottish theologian and historian, and Bishop of Salisbury. He was respected as a cleric, a preacher, and an academic.
