This reprint of the original 1954 edition has an introduction by the author written especially for the Greenwood reprint edition, and three original photographs. Correspondent Joseph Starobin went to Indo-China to see at first hand what was happening on the Viet Minh side. He is the only American newspaperman to have visited this area since the war began and to have interviewed Ho Chi Minh.
