Contains black and white decorative plates throughout. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Severe cracking to hinges causing boards to be loose. Large splits to joints causing spine strip to be loose with noticeable loss. Gilded text block edges. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and light foxing. Loose binding with cracking to gutters. Free end paper missing. Pen inscription to half title page and tipex mark. Paper remnants to front pastedown. Boards have heavy edge-wear with substantial bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Fraying to cloth to corners and spine ends exposing netting. Noticeable tanning to spine. Small black marks on rear board.Book has a slight forward lean.
