From the collection Pim van Eekelen, with collector's mark on the verso of each print. 1) Title: 'FAECUNDA QUAM SIT ACRIS INGENI....' signed on the bottom:'Antonius tempestius Inventor' to the right:'R. Lubbaeus' and on the bottom:'et Wilhel: Ianss: excud: Amsterodami' on a cartouche surrounded with weapons, armors and war musical instruments; 2) Soldiers with lances on horseback gathered on the right; the battle is taking place in the left background. Signed on the bottom: 'Ant: Temp: inu:' numbered '2' and on the bottom right: 'S. Frisius fec.' 3) Man in feathered hat on horseback in center talking to a figure holding a spear; cannons are pulled by teams of oxen on left. Signature and number along bottom edge to right:'Ant:tem:inu / 3'; 4) Battle in center about to take place between two sets of cavalry approaching each other. Signature and number along bottom edge to right of center:'Ant: temp: in: / 4' 5) Battle taking place along a fortification with three large towers and a gate.
