About This Item
London: T.C. & E.C. Black. Good+. 1892. Hardcover. Large blue hardback covers with gold decoration on the front cover and spine. The binding shows wear and rubbing to the spine edges, and the corners are bumped. Volume 1 is tightly bound. Volume 2 has a split to the bottom of the front joint and the spine, but the cover is still holding and the text block is still sound. The plate pages clean. This is a two-volume set. The first volume contains the alphabetized list of family surnames. The second volume consists of illustrated plates of family crests. There are 314 pages of plates, each with about a dozen heraldic illustrations each. A beautiful and important British heraldry set. Priority or international shipping will be quite a bit extra because of the weight of the set. ; z .
