About This Item
New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1919. Second American edition, 16mo, pp. 97; original blue boards in yellow dust jacket printed in green; jacket edges chipped and worn, 2-inch tear at head of upper jacket cover with old tape-repair, spine toned; upper board joint a bit cracked; bookplate and contemporary bookseller ticket on front pastedown, else interior about fine. An apparently unrecorded binding for the second American edition (described as the second American printing on front jacket cover and printer's colophon): Higginson & Williams describes the first American edition in the same bright blue boards but in a green dust jacket printed in violet; the second American edition is described as being bound in purple cloth with no dust jacket description. See Higginson & Williams A3b-c.
