About This Item

London: John Macqueen, 1897. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition.. Original fine-ribbed green cloth, lettered in gilt. Corners scuffed, a little foxing, otherwise very good. "John Le Breton" was not one person but two (probably a husband and wife writing team). Likewise this novel is not one but three: three short novels illustrating the themes of the title..
