8vo. London: Blackie, [1913?]. 8vo, [88] pp. with color illustrations in the collation. Original pictorial boards, red cloth backstrip, covers a bit soiled and worn, internally very good. § Later edition of this much reprinted book, with plates by Rackham and Cecil Aldin and text from various authors. Collations and descriptions vary in library catalogues and online copies for sale. Some of the plates are dated 1901. In this copy, illustrations rendered as half-tones in the earlier edition are now line blocks, and some of the color illustrations have been printed in fewer colors.
